For too many years only the factories offered service to the public on their firearms. I would compare this to buying a car from a dealer then having to drive to Detroit to have it serviced. Gander Mountain has pioneered the concept of placing Gunsmiths in each of their stores along with sales associates who are familiar with the firearms they sell. PGS graduates staff many of Gander Mountain stores that are expanding throughout the Northeast and Midwestern United States.

Brownell's offering state of the Gunsmithing art seminars at PGS for current students.

The Gunsmithing technical department at the prestigious mega Gunsmithing supplier, Brownell's, www.brownells.com, has agreed to conduct seminars on-campus for current PGS students. These seminars are still in the planning stages, however, two have already been conducted and with rave reviews by students.

The AR-15/M-16 and Variants seminar prepares the participant for any modification or problem on the AR platform. This is an intense 4-day seminar that concludes with Brownell certification of the participant. The participant must successfully complete a written and practical, hands on exam to receive the Brownell's certification.

The Alternative Finishes seminar is also 4 days long and covers the various state of the Gunsmithing art spray on coatings. These new and innovative coatings are the wave of the future that will preserve and protect wood, plastics and metal from high use and abuse. Participants must also pass the written and practical examinations to receive the Brownell's certification.

 

Black Heart International agrees to offer tactical seminars at PGS.

Black Heart International, www.bhigear.com, and PGS are in initial discussions on conducting various tactical seminars for current PGS students. Stay tuned for more developments.
