As the first-ever recipient of the Doug Turnbull Firearms Restoration Arts Grant, Pennsylvania Gunsmith School is proud to continue that work. The next generation learns at the bench, develops their skills in the shop, and carries the craft forward.

Students are evaluating a Winchester 1886 chambered in .45-90. This rifle has been provided by the Doug Turnbull Firearms Restoration Arts Grant and the American Custom Gunsmakers Guild.

Pennsylvania Gunsmithing School has been chosen to launch this program and with the guidance of Mr. Turnbull and other members of the guild the students will be part of a great experience restoring the great Winchester.
